Goldbug is the rebuilt and upgraded form of Bumblebee, created after he was critically injured and nearly destroyed during the events of the later G1 era. 

Reconstructed by advanced technology, Goldbug emerges stronger, faster and more confident, taking on leadership of the Throttlebots. 

While retaining Bumblebee’s loyalty and courage, Goldbug exhibits greater maturity and decisiveness, playing pivotal roles in major storylines such as The Return of Optimus Prime and The Rebirth. 

As a compact yet capable warrior, he leads by example, proving that even smaller Autobots can make a major impact in the war against the Decepticons.
