From the ruthless authority of Overlord and his Powermaster partners Giga and Mega to the savage Decepticon Pretenders led temporarily by Bomb-Burst, the Decepticon forces in Transformers: Masterforce evolved into one of the most diverse and dangerous armies in Generation One history.

Their ranks combined brute force, deception, espionage, monstrous power and psychological warfare through warriors such as the aerial jet brothers duo Powermasters Darkwing and Dreadwind, treacherous double agent Doubledealer, fearsome Pretenders Skullgrin and Submarauder and the beast-like Junior Headmasters led by Fangry alongside Horri-Bull and Squeezeplay.

Supporting them were the terrifying aquatic Seacons under Snaptrap, whose combined form Piranacon stood alongside legendary Decepticon combiners such as Devastator, Menasor, Bruticus, Predaking, Abominus, and Monstructor as among the most formidable Decepticon forces ever assembled.

Together, these warriors transformed the Decepticons from a conventional military faction into a terrifying multi-layered empire of monsters, spies, hunters and destroyers capable of waging war across air, land, sea and space throughout the Japanese Transformers continuity.

Powermaster Overlord

Overlord stands as among the most terrifying Decepticon Powermasters alongside Darkwing and Dreadwind in the Japanese Transformers: Masterforce continuity, serving as both a high-ranking commander and a living embodiment of overwhelming brute-force warfare.

Unlike conventional Transformers, he is a true Powermaster Duocon, formed through the combined might of two human-linked components - Giga and Mega - who each transform into heavy assault tank and sleek combat jet before merging into a towering armored giant robot.
