Ultra Magnus serves as the steadfast Autobot City Commander and interim leader following the death of Optimus Prime in The Transformers: The Movie.
A disciplined soldier rather than an inspirational figure, Magnus is defined by his strict adherence to duty, protocol and responsibility, often struggling with the burden of leadership thrust upon him.
