The Junkions are a hardy and unconventional race of Transformers who inhabit the refuse-covered world of Junkion, thriving where others would see only waste and ruin. 

Led by Wreck-Gar, they are masters of salvage and reconstruction, possessing the remarkable ability to rebuild themselves and even others from scraps and debris, making them effectively impossible to keep down for long. 

Their speech patterns, composed largely of fragmented Earth television and radio transmissions, give them an eccentric and unpredictable demeanor, often confusing allies and enemies alike. 

Initially hostile due to misunderstandings, the Junkions quickly prove themselves valuable allies to the Autobots during The Transformers: The Movie, even restoring the fallen Ultra Magnus back to life after his apparent destruction by Galvatron. 

In combat, Junkions favor chaotic swarm tactics, overwhelming opponents with sheer numbers and resilience rather than precision, and transforming into a variety of improvised vehicle forms - often resembling motorcycles or scrap-built machines.
